Executive Chef – Sports Bar

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations of its upcoming Sports Bar. The role involves overseeing daily kitchen activities, creating innovative menus, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily kitchen operations efficiently and within budget.
• Develop monthly and seasonal menus in collaboration with the restaurant manager.
• Monitor food quality, consumption, and resource utilization.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen environment and uphold health‑and‑safety standards.
• Prepare regular performance and cost reports for senior management.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate kitchen staff; manage rosters and hiring decisions.
• Conduct training, write operating procedures, and address guest feedback promptly.
• Stay abreast of market trends and propose menu, pricing, or wage adjustments.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of progressive culinary experience, preferably in high‑volume or sports‑bar environments.
• Culinary training or degree.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office for reporting and scheduling.
