Executive Manager - Business Banking

About the role

Lead the Business Banking segment for the assigned region, driving revenue growth, portfolio expansion and customer acquisition while ensuring compliance and high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and execute sales strategies to diversify revenue streams, expand assets/liabilities and meet sales targets.
• Manage portfolio growth by identifying client needs, sourcing solutions and increasing transaction volumes.
• Oversee MIS reporting to track profitability and support decision‑making.
• Support acquisition teams through training, policy compliance and process optimisation.
• Conduct market research, monitor competitors and adjust plans to achieve growth targets.
• Lead and develop the team, set objectives, manage performance and foster engagement.
• Recommend and implement improvements to policies, processes and systems.
• Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of SME banking experience, including at least 4 years in a managerial role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or Law.
• Strong knowledge of SME banking products (assets and/or liabilities) in the UAE market.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with core banking systems.
