Executive - Workplace Technology

About the role

R&B Fashion is hiring an Executive for Workplace Technology in Dubai. The role covers IT support for retail and F&B stores, including troubleshooting, new store IT setup, store closures, user hardware and software support, and onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Store IT support: diagnose and fix POS, billing software and network issues, biometric attendance and access control faults, and IT-related customer complaints; provide remote support and on-site visits; manage support tickets within SLA.
• New store IT setup: coordinate with the project and brand team on IT assets, timelines and network needs; install POS terminals, printers, scanners, cabling and peripherals; configure routers, switches, wireless APs and VLANs; set up firewalls, VPN tunnels to Head Office, billing software, mPOS devices and biometric machines; sign off the IT readiness checklist.
• Store closure: de-install, catalogue and reconcile equipment, pack assets for the central warehouse, decommission systems, revoke credentials, wipe data and archive configurations; coordinate with the project team, HR and ISP and produce a completion report.
• User hardware and software support: fix hardware and software issues for Head Office and store users, coordinate warranty repairs and vendor RMAs, manage Active Directory accounts and shared mailbox permissions, and deliver training on Microsoft 365, VPN and password management.
• User onboarding: image devices, install Microsoft 365 and business applications, register staff in the biometric attendance system, run an IT orientation and issue assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant professional certifications in infrastructure technologies are preferred.
