Export Sales Manager – Pharmaceutical CDMO

About the role

Our client, a well‑established Italian pharmaceutical manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Export Sales Manager to lead business development across the Middle East and selected emerging markets. Based in the UAE (Dubai or Abu Dhabi preferred), the role involves extensive international travel and serves as the key commercial reference for important international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and further develop an existing portfolio of pharmaceutical customers and distributors.
• Identify and acquire new business opportunities across assigned territories.
• Develop long‑term strategic partnerships with distributors and key stakeholders.
• Conduct regular customer visits and business reviews.
• Represent the company at major international exhibitions and industry events such as CPHI, Arab Health, and regional pharmaceutical conferences.
• Collaborate closely with Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
• Support product registration activities with international partners.
• Prepare sales budgets, forecasts, and commercial plans.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
• Drive revenue growth and market expansion across assigned regions.

Required profile

• Native Arabic speaker or fluent Arabic (C1/C2 level).
• Fluent English.
• Previous commercial experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in international sales, export management, business development, or distributor management.
• Strong negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Customer‑focused mindset.
• Availability for frequent international travel.
