EYFS & Primary Receptionist (Start Aug 2026)

About the role

The Arbor School is looking for a motivated and proactive Receptionist to support both the EYFS and Primary teams. Starting in August 2026, you will be the first point of contact for students, parents, and staff, helping to create a welcoming and efficient environment that aligns with the school’s ecological and sustainability vision.

Key responsibilities

• Manage front‑desk operations, greet visitors, and handle telephone enquiries.
• Provide administrative support to EYFS and Primary teachers, including filing, data entry, and preparation of documents.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and assist with student enrolment processes.
• Coordinate the distribution of internal communications and school newsletters.
• Support the school’s sustainability initiatives through responsible resource use and waste reduction.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, diligent, and able to multitask in a busy school environment.
• Enthusiastic about the school’s ecological mission and willing to promote sustainable practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.

Required skills

• Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).
• Strong written and verbal English language skills.
