Face-to-Face Team Leader (Fundraising)

About the role

CTG, a human resources and staffing solutions provider operating in 35 countries, advertises a Face-to-Face Team Leader (F2F) position in Dubai. The PSP service of a client raises resources through individual giving and leadership giving. The Team Leader builds, maintains and leads a team of 5 to 6 fundraisers, recruits regular donors at campaign locations and supports expanding the F2F programme across the UAE. The role reports to a line manager.

The ad states it is for talent-pool building: shortlisted applicants will be contacted by the recruiter once the project goes live.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit regular giving donors in public or private places in line with the client's code of conduct, at times, hours and places set by the PSP unit.
• Build and lead a team of 5 to 6 fundraisers, keeping it motivated, well trained and aligned with the client's aims and reputation.
• Monitor and analyse team performance against targets and KPIs, and report daily, weekly and monthly performance to management.
• Provide ongoing training, coaching and motivational activities, and prepare work plans for the team.
• Handle performance management and disciplinary actions in line with organisational policy.
• Maintain accurate pledge forms, manage sign-up forms and welcome packs, and propose improvements to the programme.
• Meet the performance standard of at least 35 monthly and 15 annual regular donors per month, with an average of 2 donors from the team at all times, and keep the attrition rate at or below 15%.

Required profile

• Certificate in senior secondary education or vocational training equivalent (essential).
• Fluent English (essential); fluent Arabic and Hindi desirable.
• Desirable: 3 years of experience coordinating teams and events, 3 years as a face-to-face fundraiser or Team Leader, and 3 years in the Middle East.
• Desirable: previous experience with the UN in a similar capacity.
• Team management experience required.
