Facilities Coordinator - Reliability Maintenance Engineering

About the role

The Facilities Coordinator leads the Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team at a Fulfillment Center in Abu Dhabi. The role manages external contractors, handles emergencies and multiple projects, develops plans to achieve engineering departmental goals and coaches the team. It covers both reactive and proactive maintenance of all operational equipment and facility infrastructure, directly affecting site productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, support and mentor the team so they work safely, to standard and efficiently, and organize their training program
• Keep Asset Performance Management (APM) metrics and performance/compliance KPIs
• Support the Reliability Engineering Manager in implementing, recording and auditing safety and statutory compliance programs
• Implement network standards and focus on preventative maintenance to ensure equipment availability
• Manage a team of Maintenance Supervisors and technicians, defining goals, priorities and staff planning
• Develop and implement vendor Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) with defined service levels
• Organize local projects or support MEATR-level projects as assigned
• Monitor and respond to RME customer requests through the trouble ticketing system and verify vendor service against SLAs

Required profile

• High school or equivalent diploma
• 1+ year of experience using a computer-based maintenance management system for planning, scheduling and auditing facilities/maintenance activities
• 1+ year of experience with computers and Microsoft Office products
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, nights and holidays; travel up to 15%
• Preferred: 4+ years as a maintenance planner/scheduler in an industrial or manufacturing setting, and experience with material handling systems
