About the role
The Buyer will ensure timely, cost‑effective procurement of goods and services essential for facilities management operations. This role supports uninterrupted business continuity while adhering to company policies and maintaining strong supplier performance.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes for FM materials, consumables and service contracts.
- Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, quality and delivery.
- Prepare and issue purchase requisitions and local purchase orders after obtaining approvals.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and update the ERP system (preferably Oracle) for transparency.
- Develop and sustain strong vendor relationships; conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance and finance teams to align procurement with operational needs.
- Support cost‑saving initiatives and continuous improvement of procurement efficiency.
- Handle urgent or emergency purchase requirements promptly.
Required profile
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in Facilities Management, Real Estate or a related service industry within the UAE.
- Strong understanding of UAE supplier markets and FM‑related materials and services.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
