Facilities Management Expert

About the role

The Facilities Management Expert will lead the technical and strategic direction of the facilities management system for a public facilities corporation. The role ensures efficient asset management, sustainable operations, and compliance with best‑practice standards while driving digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and steer the FM strategy, aligning it with institutional plans and sustainability goals.
• Oversee planning, execution, and review of FM and support‑service contracts, approving technical and organisational frameworks.
• Develop, approve and monitor FM policies, procedures, technical standards and performance indicators.
• Provide senior‑level technical advice on FM, asset management and infrastructure to senior management.
• Lead transformation initiatives, including adoption of smart technologies, digital FM systems and IoT solutions.
• Prepare and approve long‑term maintenance and asset lifecycle plans.
• Govern FM contracts, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in facilities management or related fields.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale FM programmes and digital transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of asset management, sustainability standards and contract governance.
• Ability to develop policies, procedures and performance metrics.
