Factory Operations Manager

About the role

The Factory Operations Manager will lead daily production activities in a high‑volume marble and granite processing plant. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure that output meets quality, schedule, and cost targets while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and adjust production schedules to meet project deadlines and customer specifications.
• Supervise cutting, polishing, CNC, fabrication, finishing, packing and dispatch operations.
• Allocate manpower, machinery, materials and other resources efficiently.
• Track production targets, output, wastage, rework, downtime and overall productivity.
• Coordinate with Projects, Planning, Procurement, QS, Sales and Logistics teams.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards for marble and granite processing.
• Identify operational issues, implement corrective and preventive actions, and oversee preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Enforce HSE policies and UAE safety regulations, maintain housekeeping and factory organization.
• Supervise and evaluate supervisors, foremen, operators and workers; manage attendance, overtime and manpower planning.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production reports and control production costs.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience managing factory or plant operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams and drive productivity improvements.
• Strong knowledge of marble and granite processing methods and equipment.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
