Faculty Position in Data Science and Analytics

About the role

RIT Dubai seeks an experienced academic to join its faculty in Data Science and Analytics. The role involves teaching, research, and industry engagement across a broad spectrum of data‑driven disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver three to four undergraduate or graduate courses each semester, including capstone research projects.
• Provide student advising, mentorship for research and applied projects, and serve on departmental committees.
• Develop and maintain collaborations with industry and government partners in Big Data.
• Conduct applied research in data science and contribute to scholarly publications.

Required profile

• PhD in a data‑intensive discipline from a recognized institution.
• Documented experience applying data science to large‑scale or unstructured data problems.
• Proven teaching and research record in statistical theory, data mining, machine learning, or related areas.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment.
