Faculty Position in Internal Medicine (Assistant to Full Professor)

About the role

The Department of Internal Medicine at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAE University, invites applications for a faculty position ranging from Assistant Professor to Full Professor. The role combines teaching, clinical service, and research within an internationally recognized, problem‑based curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and assess undergraduate medical students and postgraduate master’s candidates in clinical research.
• Participate in clinical service covering acute medicine and ambulatory outpatient care at affiliated teaching hospitals.
• Develop and deliver curricula for internal medicine clerkships and supervise student projects.
• Conduct and publish biomedical clinical research in collaboration with hospital colleagues.

Required profile

• MD or MBBS degree with advanced clinical and research training.
• Board certification (or equivalent) in Internal Medicine from accredited programs in North America, Australia, Europe, or South Africa.
• Eligibility for a consultant license under current Department of Health regulations.

Required skills

• Experience in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.
• Strong record of publishing clinical research.
• Familiarity with USMLE, Canadian Qualifying Examinations, or equivalent accreditation processes (desirable).
