About the role

The College of Information Technology at United Arab Emirates University is recruiting faculty members across all ranks. Candidates should have a strong research record in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Informatics, with an emphasis on theoretical foundations and real‑world applications such as Smart Health Systems, Cloud Computing, Business Intelligence, and Decision Support Systems. The role involves both research and teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels.

Key responsibilities

• Advance and diversify the college’s research portfolio through multidisciplinary projects and collaborations.
• Teach and develop courses for BSc, MSc, and PhD programmes in AI, Data Science, Informatics, and related fields.
• Secure external research funding and manage research contracts.
• Supervise undergraduate and graduate students in research activities.
• Contribute to the development of new degree programmes and curricula.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Science, or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
• Established record of publications in internationally recognized journals and conferences.
• Demonstrated experience in writing and obtaining research grants.
• Evidence of teaching excellence and student supervision at university level.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and programmes.
