Family Medicine Specialist

About the role

The Family Medicine Specialist will provide high‑quality, ethical clinical care to patients in Abu Dhabi, ensuring safety, compliance and continuous professional growth. This full‑time position requires a proactive approach to risk management, governance standards and accurate medical documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, professional, and ethical clinical services to patients efficiently.
• Identify, monitor, and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care.
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance, quality management standards and occupational safety policies.
• Maintain precise and up‑to‑date medical records.
• Promote continuous professional development for self and colleagues.
• Adhere to infection control policies, including strict hand‑hygiene and environmental cleanliness.
• Participate in OSH audits, risk assessments and emergency preparedness activities.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience at Specialist level (independent of country).
• Minimum 1 year Specialist experience in a Tier 1 country as defined by UAE healthcare regulators.
• Basic medical degree and a recognised specialty qualification/fellowship.
• Active registration with the relevant UAE healthcare authority.
• Current life‑support certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP).
