Fashion Merchandising Intern

About the role

CHANEL Middle East is looking for a Fashion Merchandising Intern to support its Merchandising Team in growing the Fashion business across its boutiques. The role spans business planning and product merchandising, turning sales, stock and market insights into actions that support collection performance. It is a full-time, six-month internship based in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Update weekly business dashboards and reports, and contribute to weekly and monthly reporting for leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Support Open-to-Buy calculations, sales forecasts and commercial budget updates, and build tools that improve business follow-up.
• Prepare ad-hoc presentations, support stock diversions and reallocations, and take part in Monthly Business Reviews.
• Analyse product performance and support category strategies aligned with regional objectives.
• Identify slow-moving products and work with Visual Merchandising and Style teams on visibility and sell-through.
• Contribute to pre-buy analysis, collection assortment preparation and post-buying reviews, and support monthly replenishment analysis for Eyewear and Fashion & Beauty.
• Monitor collection deliveries and report incoming, in-transit and received stock, and support stock action plans, rebalancing and transfers.
• Carry out competitor and market analysis to spot commercial, product and client trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Previous internship or initial experience in merchandising, business analysis or a related area is an advantage, ideally in fashion or luxury.
• Fluency in English is essential; French is a plus.
• Available for a full-time, six-month internship in Dubai.

Required skills

• Strong Excel skills; knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
• Analytical and numerical confidence with excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive, organised and adaptable, able to manage several priorities.
• Clear communication, working both collaboratively and independently.
