Field Operations & Protective Intelligence Specialist

About the role

The Global Security team at EDGE is seeking a senior professional to lead field operations and protective intelligence across its worldwide activities. The role blends intelligence‑led analysis with hands‑on security support, requiring occasional international travel to high‑risk locations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct reconnaissance, site, route and accommodation assessments to support overseas projects, executive travel and business development.
• Monitor and report on foreign intelligence, insider threats, social engineering and surveillance, producing counter‑intelligence advisories.
• Design and deliver security training programmes, including hostile environment awareness and executive protection.
• Support incident response, crisis management and personnel welfare, including evacuation and repatriation coordination.

Required profile

• Secondary school diploma in security, emergency or intelligence fields plus at least 10 years of military or police operational experience.
• Proven ability to develop security protocols, produce operational guidelines and brief senior leaders.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
