Field Professional – Drilling Fluids

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Field Professional to provide well‑site service for Baroid drilling fluid customers in Abu Dhabi. The role involves applying advanced chemistry knowledge, performing hydraulic calculations, and delivering both routine and specialized testing to optimise wellbore performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site fluid service, conduct and interpret routine and specialized testing, and deliver technical guidance on customized engineering fluids.
• Perform volume and hydraulics calculations, track material usage for inventory and billing, and maintain strong relationships with operators, rig personnel, and Baroid technical staff.
• Assist in operation planning, drilling optimisation, well planning, and business delivery activities while reviewing well recaps for accuracy.
• Mentor and train Field Service Representatives and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma and successful completion of Halliburton mud training.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in fluid services.
• Undergraduate degree in any discipline is preferred.
• Completion of a math test is required.
