Field Service Specialist

About the role

The Field Service Specialist will join E Three for Oil & Gas to ensure the reliability of critical safety and pressure control equipment on energy development sites. You will work on‑site, diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and electrical systems to minimise downtime and keep operations running safely.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair hydraulic systems, including valves, actuators and high‑pressure components.
• Diagnose pressure and flow issues and implement corrective actions.
• Apply AC/DC theory to troubleshoot electrical circuits and control systems.
• Work with PLCs, analog and digital sensors, and related electronic devices.
• Follow standard operating procedures and maintenance schedules to reduce equipment wear.
• Interpret assembly drawings, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Maintain tools and supplies, and safely rig and relocate equipment using proper lifting techniques.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to pull a tandem‑axle trailer.
• Prior field experience with hydraulic and electrical systems; mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required.
• Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication.
