Finance Controller – GBS & Global Information Security

About the role

Terumo is seeking a Finance Controller to support its Global Business Services (GBS) and Global Information Security functions. Working in a highly collaborative, international environment, you will partner with senior leaders, regional finance teams, Tax, Legal and Corporate Finance to ensure financial transparency and sound decision‑making worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve global cost allocation methodologies for GBS and Information Security, ensuring compliance with transfer pricing and tax regulations.
• Collaborate with Tax, Legal, Corporate Finance and local finance teams to validate allocation frameworks and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Lead the annual budgeting process for both functions and coordinate monthly/quarterly forecasting cycles, highlighting variances, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare multi‑year financial plans that support strategic initiatives and long‑term business objectives.
• Provide actionable financial insights to senior leadership to guide investment decisions, operational efficiency and strategic planning.
• Maintain dual reporting lines to the Regional HQ CFO and dotted‑line relationships to the Global Executive in Charge of Information Security and the Global GBS Leader.

Required profile

• Strong background in finance, accounting or related discipline with experience in cost allocation, budgeting and forecasting.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a global, matrixed organization and interact with senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of transfer pricing principles, tax regulations and financial governance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to translate complex financial data into clear business recommendations.
