Finance Director – Global Investment Group

About the role

The client, a UAE‑based investment group with a diversified, high‑growth portfolio, seeks a Finance Director/CFO to lead its global finance function. This senior, hands‑on role will shape financial strategy, governance and operational infrastructure across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust financial policies, controls and reporting frameworks for international entities.
• Lead overall financial strategy, cash‑flow forecasting, budgeting and financial planning models.
• Oversee accounting operations, month‑end/ year‑end close, and consolidation of financial statements under IFRS.
• Prepare portfolio performance reports, investment metrics and support due‑diligence for new opportunities.
• Assist portfolio companies with fundraising, financial modelling and corporate finance structuring.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, manage corporate structuring (SPVs, trusts, offshore/onshore entities) and oversee statutory filings.
• Manage relationships with auditors, legal advisers, tax consultants, bankers and other service providers.
• Supervise insurance programmes and risk‑mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Finance Director or CFO in a multi‑jurisdictional, investment‑focused environment.
• Strong strategic mindset combined with hands‑on operational capability.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with senior principals and influence high‑level decisions.
