Finance Director – Luxury Group (Dubai)

About the role

We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced Finance Director to join a highly established and growing luxury group based in Dubai. This senior leadership position will shape the Group’s financial strategy, oversee operations across multiple entities, and drive commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Group’s overall finance function and define financial strategy.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and senior management.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and analysis.
• Ensure strong financial controls, governance and compliance across the Group.
• Supervise management accounts, statutory reporting, audits and tax matters.
• Monitor business performance and deliver commercial and financial insights.
• Collaborate with operational and commercial teams to improve profitability and cost control.
• Oversee project‑related financial reporting, including budgets, margins and cash flow.
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead and develop the finance team, establishing best‑practice processes.
• Work with external auditors, banks, advisors and other financial stakeholders.
• Support senior management with business planning, investment decisions and growth initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, accounting standards and internal policies.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior‑level roles such as Finance Director.
• Strong background in real estate, property development, construction, design & build, or similar project‑led environments.
• Experience managing finance across multiple entities or business divisions.
• Deep understanding of project financials, cost control, cash flow and profitability.
• Proven ability to work closely with CEOs, shareholders and senior leadership.
• Commercial and strategic mindset beyond traditional reporting.
• Experience leading and developing finance teams.
• Knowledge of UAE accounting, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder‑management skills.
