Finance Director – Real Estate & Construction

About the role

Union Properties PJSC is seeking a senior Finance Director with a strong construction and contracting background to lead its finance function in Dubai. Reporting directly to the executive leadership, you will be responsible for shaping the financial strategy, ensuring robust governance, and delivering insights that drive long‑term growth across the group and its subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in line with overall business objectives.
• Oversee corporate accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury management.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Manage capital structure, debt financing, and cash flow to support project development.
• Lead the annual budgeting and planning process, delivering rigorous analysis and challenge.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls to protect assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Advise the CEO and Board on investment analysis, risk management, and strategic initiatives.
• Maintain relationships with auditors, banks, investors, and regulatory bodies.
• Analyse financial performance and market trends to recommend actions that enhance profitability and shareholder value.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
• Extensive experience in finance leadership within real estate, construction or contracting firms.
• Proven track record of managing large, complex financial operations and capital structures.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and communication skills.
