Finance Executive – FP&A Trainee (Dubai)

About the role

The Finance Executive (FP&A Trainee) will support the Financial Planning & Analysis function at Al Futtaim Contracting. You will work closely with the Financial Reporting Manager, preparing reports, managing budgets and forecasts, and providing analytical insights to drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Extract and organise monthly financial reports, maintain performance records and circulate MIS to stakeholders.
• Take ownership of budget and forecast submission in SAP & BPC, handling quarterly uploads end‑to‑end.
• Conduct monthly variance analysis for each Line of Business and deliver actionable insights.
• Identify over‑ or under‑spending by developing a deep understanding of business operations.
• Support ad‑hoc requests from Business Analysts and Operations, ensuring compliance with Group Reporting requirements.

Required profile

• B.Com (completed or pursuing) or Inter CA / Inter CMA.
• 0‑2 years of experience, preferably in engineering or construction.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP and BPC financial software.
• Advanced use of the MS Office Suite.
