Finance Manager – Accounting, Tax & Treasury (UAE)

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead end‑to‑end finance and accounting functions for the company’s UAE operations, covering financial reporting, tax compliance, treasury and cash management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting, month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing including GL, AP/AR, expenses, bank reconciliations, accruals, provisions and fixed assets.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, cash‑flow projections and variance analysis in line with IFRS, UAE regulations and Group policies.
• Oversee UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, Excise Tax and related filings, registrations and correspondence with the Federal Tax Authority.
• Coordinate customs duties, import VAT, transfer‑pricing and related‑party compliance.
• Handle inventory accounting, product costing, landed‑cost calculations and stock reconciliations.
• Direct treasury and banking activities: liquidity planning, payment scheduling, working‑capital monitoring, FX exposure, bank‑account administration and KYC documentation.
• Manage intercompany settlements, cross‑border fund transfers and funding arrangements with Group Finance.
• Establish and maintain financial controls, approval procedures and segregation of duties.
• Coordinate payroll accounting, salary payments and WPS compliance in partnership with HR and payroll providers.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisers, banks and other professional service providers for audits and regulatory filings.
• Monitor UAE regulatory developments and support implementation of accounting systems, finance processes and e‑invoicing requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CMA or CA) strongly preferred.
• Minimum seven years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including substantial hands‑on experience in the UAE.
• Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or equivalent senior finance role.
