Finance Manager

About the role

Join Clarins Group as a Finance Manager on a 10‑12 month project to drive financial planning, reporting and cost control across our global skincare and makeup business. You will work closely with commercial, marketing and supply‑chain teams to ensure accurate forecasts and strategic financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate quarterly budgeting and forecasting cycles, covering budget, risk and opportunity analyses.
• Maintain and update financial models for forecasts, variance analysis and fixed‑cost budgeting.
• Prepare HFM and internal management reports, delivering timely variance commentary.
• Produce P&L analyses by customer and by market, and support month‑end reporting packs.
• Manage capex budgeting, actuals review, labour reporting, depreciation forecasting and stock provisions.
• Support balance‑sheet submission reviews, ensure compliance with accounting policies and assist with IAS 38 intangible‑asset assessments.
• Collaborate with tax specialists on corporate tax matters.
• Validate pricing assumptions across markets and align financial forecasts with operational plans.
• Contribute to senior‑level communications, including the President’s Letter and stakeholder presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance or financial reporting, preferably at manager level in a multinational.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, including IAS 38, depreciation and balance‑sheet controls.
• Proven experience in budgeting, cost control, pricing validation and inventory accounting.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial‑modelling capabilities.
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and ERP systems.
• In‑depth IFRS knowledge.
• Understanding of IAS 38 intangible‑asset accounting.
