Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the accounting function for a major client in Dubai. This contract position lasts six months initially, with the possibility of renewal based on performance. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, IFRS compliance, and strong stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end accounting, ensuring data integrity.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and company policies.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Maintain compliance with statutory, regulatory and internal reporting requirements.
• Coordinate audit activities and manage auditor relationships.
• Develop and enforce robust financial controls and governance frameworks.
• Provide financial analysis, trend identification and performance recommendations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CA or CPA) preferred.
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar senior accounting role.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
