Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the finance function for a regional construction group operating across 17 business units in nine Middle Eastern countries. This senior position combines financial leadership, operational influence, and business partnering within an international engineering and construction environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial activities across 17 Business Units in 9 Middle Eastern countries.
• Support three distinct Business Lines with diverse operational and commercial requirements.
• Manage complex project accounting and cash‑flow considerations within the construction sector.
• Coordinate taxation, banking, compliance, audit, and reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Lead and develop a multicultural, geographically dispersed finance team.
• Oversee contract management, payment terms, guarantees, joint ventures, and collections.
• Deliver financial analysis and performance insights to support management decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement through digitalisation, reporting automation, and finance process enhancements.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 15 years of finance and accounting management experience, including at least 5 years of international taxation, external audit, transfer pricing, treasury, and compliance exposure.
• Proven experience managing multi‑entity, multi‑currency, and multi‑country financial reporting within an international group.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, internal controls, audit processes, and group reporting standards.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, Power Query, and Power BI.
• Experience in digital finance transformation and reporting automation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and coordinate multicultural finance teams across multiple countries.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
