Finance Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead all financial activities for a manufacturing site in the UAE, ensuring accurate accounting, robust controls, and full statutory compliance. This senior position works closely with production, procurement, supply‑chain teams and external auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the complete accounting cycle, monthly close, and preparation of financial statements.
• Manage treasury functions, bank reconciliations, foreign‑exchange entries and short‑term cash‑flow forecasting.
• Direct accounts payable/receivable, vendor and customer reconciliations, landed‑cost verification and credit exposure monitoring.
• Control inventory costing, standard‑versus‑actual analysis, and valuation of raw material, WIP and finished‑goods stock.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, excise tax, corporate tax, free‑zone income rules and e‑invoicing requirements.
• Coordinate external audit planning to final sign‑off and maintain internal control frameworks.
• Prepare management reports on production cost, margin and working‑capital performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in financial accounting or finance management, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA or CMA); postgraduate degree in accounting/finance is a plus.
• Demonstrated cost‑accounting experience in a production environment.
• Hands‑on experience preparing UAE VAT returns via EmaraTax; knowledge of excise and corporate tax filing is advantageous.
• Prior experience in the UAE or GCC region preferred.
