Finance Operations Executive (1‑Year Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a highly analytical Finance Operations Executive to join our fast‑paced retail finance team on a one‑year contract. The role involves managing supplier payments, trade finance, and providing insightful reporting to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end financial operations including supplier payments, receivables, reconciliations and banking activities.
• Coordinate Letters of Credit (issuance, renewals, amendments, closures) and liaise with suppliers, banks and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare accurate financial reports, dashboards and Power BI visualisations; analyse data to identify trends and risks.
• Maintain robust financial controls, ensure compliance with audit requirements and support internal/external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field (Master’s/MBA advantageous).
• 3‑5 years of experience in finance operations, trade finance or commercial finance, preferably in retail or FMCG.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, financial modelling).
• Power BI reporting and visualisation.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE or Microsoft Dynamics.
