Finance Performance & Reporting Unit Head

About the role

The Finance Performance & Reporting Unit Head leads the delivery of financial management and ad‑hoc reports, ensuring they align with DCT’s strategic objectives and International Financial Reporting Standards. This senior position reports to the Strategic Finance & Reporting Section Head and oversees a small team of reporting specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the finance reporting unit to produce accurate, timely financial reports.
• Prepare comprehensive periodic management reports on budget utilization, variances and corrective actions.
• Oversee data transformation processes that turn raw, complex data into actionable information for strategic decision‑making.
• Conduct detailed analyses, including big‑data analysis, to support forecasting and management decisions.
• Investigate variance root causes, recommend controls and drive corrective actions.
• Interpret complex financial information and present findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather data and ensure insightful reporting.
• Drive automation of reports to reduce cycle time and improve efficiency.
• Develop and enhance financial models and reporting tools.
• Generate ad‑hoc reports for leadership on specific projects or initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance reporting teams in a large organization.
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to analyse large data sets and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex financial information to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated capability to drive process automation and improve reporting efficiency.
