Finance Trainee – UAE Nationals Only

About the role

The Finance Trainee will join DNV’s Finance function in Dubai and take part in a structured rotational development programme. Over three rotations – Maritime, Energy Systems and GSS Finance – the trainee will gain hands‑on experience in core finance activities, business partnering and stakeholder management while supporting the performance of DNV’s diverse business units.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day finance tasks such as invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and reconciliations across each rotation.
• Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing activities and preparation of financial reports.
• Maintain accurate financial records in line with DNV policies and procedures.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with local, regional and global finance stakeholders.
• Identify and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency and data quality.
• Participate in finance projects, improvement initiatives and ad‑hoc activities.

Required profile

• UAE national (as specified in the posting).
• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with interest in finance.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with diverse stakeholders.
