Finance Transformation Manager ERP And Finance Systems

About the role

Atom Technology is seeking a Finance Transformation Manager to lead the migration of its finance landscape from legacy systems (ATOM FICA, Billing Engine, SAP ERP) to a modern, scalable architecture. Reporting to the Head of Product & Delivery, you will bridge finance and technology, overseeing the full transformation lifecycle from process mapping to benefits realisation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse current finance processes across record‑to‑report, order‑to‑cash, procure‑to‑pay, premium accounting, billing, settlement and treasury cycles.
• Identify pain points, manual workarounds and control weaknesses, and design streamlined, automated target processes.
• Produce process documentation, data flow diagrams, control matrices and functional specifications for vendor selection and audit.
• Define selection criteria, manage RFI/RFP processes and evaluate ERP, billing, sub‑ledger, reconciliation, tax and reporting solutions.
• Build business cases, TCO models and implementation road‑maps for executive decision‑making.
• Lead or co‑lead end‑to‑end finance system implementations, including scoping, configuration, integration design, testing, cut‑over and hyper‑care.
• Own the finance workstream within broader transformation programmes, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks and issues.
• Design chart of accounts, ledger structures, cost‑centre and profit‑centre hierarchies, and multi‑entity/multi‑currency configurations.

Required profile

• Finance professional with deep understanding of accounting substance and finance systems.
• Proven experience in finance transformation, ERP implementation and process redesign.
• Familiarity with regulated specialty insurance environments.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
