Financial Accountant

About the role

Novixa Capital is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to lead financial reporting, tax compliance and reconciliation activities within its UAE‑based Forex/Fintech business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
• Maintain general ledgers, journal entries and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Perform bank, payment‑provider, liquidity‑provider and trading‑related reconciliations, including brokerage transactions and commissions.
• Prepare and file UAE Corporate Tax returns and VAT returns, maintain tax records and support tax audits.
• Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, internal and external audit documentation and strengthen accounting controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, specifically in the Forex/Fintech industry.
• Hands‑on experience with financial reporting, P&L, balance sheets, reconciliations and general ledger management.
• Practical knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax, VAT compliance and relevant IFRS standards.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and ability to meet reporting deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of UAE tax regulations and IFRS.
