Financial Analyst – Banking & Finance

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Financial Analyst to join a leading UAE banking institution. You will work closely with Finance, IT, Operations, and Risk teams to deliver accurate financial reporting, support system enhancements, and drive process automation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and trends to support management reporting and decision‑making.
• Perform and monitor reconciliations across multiple banking and finance systems, resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for finance system enhancements and process changes.
• Gather business requirements, validate system changes, and ensure successful implementation.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and insights for key stakeholders.
• Contribute to balance‑sheet substantiation, risk monitoring, and financial control activities.

Required profile

• UAE national with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, finance operations, or financial controls.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
