Financial Controller – Finance Oversight & Business Insights

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to provide financial oversight, performance analysis and business insights across diverse operations. Based in Dubai, the role works closely with finance and business stakeholders to ensure reliable reporting, effective controls and strong performance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate financial and business performance through P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, budgets, forecasts and KPIs.
• Analyze results, identify drivers, risks and improvement opportunities, and recommend actions to enhance profitability and efficiency.
• Review and challenge financial and management reports, budgets and forecasts to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Strengthen internal controls, identify risks and process gaps, and drive improvements in governance.
• Partner with departments and external partners to support investment decisions, funding and capital allocation.
• Mentor the accounting team and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 4‑7 years of experience in financial control, FP&A, business partnering or related areas.
• Experience in multinational organisations or Big‑4 environment preferred.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ACA, CMA or CFA are an advantage.
• Fluent English and ability to work in an international environment.
