Financial Controller

About the role

Sephora is seeking a Financial Controller to support the Management Team in achieving business and financial targets across the Middle East and Europe. The role will provide high‑level financial information, partner with business functions, and ensure timely delivery of accurate financial plans.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and re‑forecasting processes for key P&L lines, developing and improving forecasting models.
• Submit forecasts in LVMH systems and produce monthly outlooks or ad‑hoc estimates as required.
• Conduct month‑end variance analysis, delivering insights on performance, risks and opportunities.
• Translate complex data into clear narratives to support strategic decision‑making.
• Partner with business units to monitor key investment areas and recommend improvements.
• Participate in month‑end close and produce financial and management reports on schedule.
• Perform ad‑hoc analyses to support business initiatives.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in FP&A, business partnering or controlling roles; Big 4 experience is a plus.
• Strong business‑partnering skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across France and the Middle East.
• Analytical mindset focused on continuous improvement.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail while maintaining a big‑picture perspective.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with reporting systems and financial planning tools.
