Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the Group’s accounting function from our Abu Dhabi headquarters. This full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for the preparation, review and consolidation of financial statements and management reports across all Samira Maatouk brands.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate general‑ledger entries.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes for multiple entities.
• Prepare, review and consolidate financial statements and management reports in line with applicable accounting standards.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow and financial performance, analysing variances and providing actionable insights.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external auditors and banking partners.
• Develop and enhance internal controls, financial policies and system efficiencies.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in accounting and finance with end‑to‑end accounting cycle experience.
• Proven ability to prepare and review financial statements for multi‑entity or multi‑brand organisations.
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret data and support strategic decisions.
• Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) or a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Experience in the F&B or hospitality sector is essential.
• High attention to detail, integrity and ability to meet tight deadlines.
