Financial Controller

About the role

Justlife, the leading home‑services platform operating across the UAE and KSA, is seeking a Financial Controller to transform its finance function as the business enters its next stage of rapid growth. This role will build and scale finance systems, controls and reporting, working closely with senior leadership to ensure the financial backbone supports the company’s expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Design and govern a unified Chart of Accounts across all entities.
• Lead automation initiatives to standardise and improve financial reporting and record‑keeping systems.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS for a multi‑entity, multi‑jurisdiction group.
• Drive a timely, accurate month‑end close process across all businesses.
• Strengthen and monitor a robust internal‑control framework group‑wide.
• Maintain accounting policies and implement new IFRS updates consistently.
• Ensure full regulatory and tax compliance, with focus on UAE and KSA requirements.
• Act as primary liaison for external auditors, tax authorities and advisors.
• Translate complex results into actionable management insights for senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance functions in fast‑growing, multi‑entity organisations.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting standards.
• Strong ability to build productive relationships with senior leadership, auditors and regulators.
• Track record of implementing robust internal controls and governance structures.
