Financial Controller

About the role

Luna PR is seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Financial Controller to manage the company’s financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. The role combines day‑to‑day finance management with strategic financial analysis to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial operations including accounting, accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, payroll and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, management reports and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, financial planning, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, expenses and overall financial performance.
• Establish, maintain and improve internal financial controls, accounting policies and reporting procedures.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, VAT, Corporate Tax and relevant accounting standards.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisers, banks and other financial service providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA) preferred.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, including controller or financial management roles.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, IFRS and local reporting requirements.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Experience in PR, marketing, professional services or agency environments is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Solid understanding of internal controls, budgeting and financial reporting.
