Financial Planning Analyst

About the role

As a Financial Planning Analyst at GCGRA you will play a key role in supporting the organisation's financial planning, analysis and cash management activities. You will work closely with business units and senior stakeholders to provide accurate financial insights, drive budgeting and forecasting processes, and help maintain liquidity and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Support the annual budgeting cycle and periodic forecasting, helping business units set realistic financial targets aligned with corporate strategy.
• Prepare detailed financial models for budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Deliver monthly management reports, including variance analysis, performance insights and dashboard updates.
• Partner with all GCGRA divisions to present financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders and promote disciplined decision‑making.
• Prepare cash‑flow forecasts, monitor liquidity, manage bank relationships and oversee treasury controls across the UAE.
• Assist in long‑term strategic planning, project evaluation and capital‑investment analysis.
• Drive automation, ensure data integrity in financial systems and support compliance with IFRS and UAE regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Professional qualification preferred (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, CFA).
• 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, management reporting or financial analysis, preferably in a multinational or regional organisation.
• Strong analytical mindset with solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and financial reporting.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Financial modelling expertise.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
• Cash‑flow forecasting and treasury management.
