Finishes Manager

About the role

GRID is seeking a Finishes Manager to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of interior and exterior finish works across its real‑estate development projects in the United Arab Emirates. The role ensures that architectural intent, quality standards, budgets and schedules are met from mock‑up stage through final handover.

Key responsibilities

• Review architectural and interior design drawings, specifications and material schedules for constructability, cost and quality.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers and consultants to resolve finish‑related design issues and support value‑engineering exercises.
• Lead finish mock‑ups, sample approvals and procurement activities, including bid evaluation and supplier selection.
• Manage all finish trades on site – flooring, tiling, millwork, cabinetry, stone, paint, wall coverings, ceilings, doors, hardware and fixtures – and coordinate sequencing with structure and MEP works.
• Conduct regular site inspections, enforce quality‑control procedures and handle RFIs, change orders and snagging lists.
• Prepare handover documentation, warranties and as‑built records for finish scopes.
• Communicate progress, risks and recommendations to internal development teams and project leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–10+ years of experience managing finishes on real‑estate or construction projects.
• Proven ability to control budgets, track costs and manage change.
• Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills.
