Fitness and Wellness Instructor

About the role

Park Hyatt Dubai is looking for a Fitness and Wellness Instructor who creates a personalized, engaging wellness experience for guests while keeping the highest standards of service, safety and professionalism. The role blends fitness expertise with genuine hospitality in a five-star environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalized one-to-one fitness sessions tailored to each guest's goals, fitness level, preferences and physical capabilities
• Conduct fitness consultations and basic assessments, then recommend suitable training programs and wellness activities
• Design and run individual and group sessions such as strength and conditioning, functional training, mobility, stretching and circuit training
• Guide guests on exercise technique, equipment use, recovery and fitness practices while maintaining professional boundaries
• Demonstrate exercises and monitor guests to promote proper form and safe use of equipment
• Recommend the hotel's fitness, recreation, spa and wellness services based on guest interests
• Keep the fitness centre and exercise areas clean, well arranged and ready, and report maintenance issues and safety hazards promptly
• Support the planning of wellness initiatives, fitness events and guest engagement programs
• Maintain accurate, confidential records of appointments, sessions and guest preferences
• Respond to guest requests and feedback, coordinating with Spa, Recreation, Front Office and other departments

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Fitness Training, Personal Training, Sports Science, Physical Education or a related field from a recognized institution
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a fitness trainer or personal trainer, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort, premium gym or wellness setting
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage guests of different nationalities and fitness levels
• Professional appearance and a service-oriented, guest-focused approach
