Fitness Instructor

About the role

The Fitness Instructor will lead the Recreation Centre at Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort, delivering high‑quality personal training, group classes and wellness events for guests and members. The role combines hands‑on fitness instruction with excellent customer service in a luxury resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct personal training sessions for guests and members.
• Lead daily group fitness classes such as HIIT, stretching, boot‑camp and boxing, both free and chargeable.
• Organise monthly fitness and wellness events, including special themed activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and fully sanitised fitness centre and equipment.
• Assist in other recreation areas as needed and ensure proper accounting of fees.
• Provide personalised exercise plans and correct technique guidance.
• Enforce safety rules and monitor program success through participation numbers and guest feedback.
• Communicate event information clearly to guests and collaborate with other hotel departments.
• Drive revenue for the fitness department and assume additional duties as requested.

Required profile

• Recognised fitness qualification (e.g., certified personal trainer).
• Proven experience delivering personal training and group fitness classes.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work in a hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of safety standards and ability to enforce them.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
