Fitness Instructor

About the role

The Fitness Instructor will support the operation of the Recreation Centre at Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort, delivering personal training, group classes and wellness events while ensuring a clean and safe environment for guests and members.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct personal training sessions and develop individualized exercise plans.
• Lead daily fitness and sports group classes such as HIIT, stretching, boot camp, and boxing.
• Organise monthly fitness and wellness events, including special themed activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment and the fitness centre.
• Provide high‑level customer service, monitor safety, and enforce recreation centre rules.
• Track participation numbers, gather guest feedback and report to management.
• Handle fee collection and ensure proper accounting procedures for paid activities.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to promote a strong working environment.

Required profile

• Recognised fitness instructor certification.
• Knowledge of exercise techniques, strength training, cardiovascular fitness and injury prevention.
• Ability to design safe and effective fitness programmes for individuals and groups.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and motivational skills.
• Physically fit with the ability to demonstrate exercises correctly.
• Professional appearance and strong customer‑service orientation.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining client records and scheduling.
• Fluent in English; Arabic or other languages are a plus.
