Fixed Income Trader

About the role

PhillipCapital (DIFC) Private Limited is seeking a Fixed Income Trader to buy and sell fixed income securities for the firm and its clients. The role involves developing trading strategies, monitoring market trends, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Buy and sell fixed income securities on behalf of the firm and its clients.
• Develop and execute trading strategies while monitoring market trends.
• Maintain relationships with institutional and retail clients and counterparties.
• Prepare and present trade reports to senior management.
• Execute trades efficiently and accurately, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities.
• Represent the fixed income desk in client meetings and presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the fixed income market and trading strategies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Existing relationships with clients and counterparties.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
