Food and Beverage Attendant - All Day Dining

About the role

Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City in Dubai is looking for an energetic, customer-focused F&B attendant to join its All-Day Dining team. You will serve guests from breakfast to dinner, taking orders, serving food and beverages and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly attitude, present menus, answer questions and make recommendations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, with proper plating and presentation.
• Anticipate guest needs, refill drinks, clear plates and respond quickly to requests for extra items or condiments.
• Engage with guests, resolve concerns and complaints, and coordinate with the kitchen and other staff.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, following cash-handling procedures.
• Help set up and clean dining areas, arrange tables and maintain cleanliness.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an F&B attendant or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong attention to detail in order taking, service and table setup.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Understanding of hygiene and safety regulations in a dining environment.

Required skills

• Basic math skills for cash handling and ability to operate a POS system.
• Knowledge of different types of cuisine and basic food and beverage pairing.
