Food and Beverage Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team at the Mercure Abu Dhabi Downtown. In this full‑time position you will be the face of the outlet, delivering warm service and ensuring guests enjoy a seamless dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous, engaging service to all guests.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, beverages, garnishes and current promotions.
• Assist guests with menu information and answer questions accurately.
• Follow all safety, hygiene and sanitation standards when handling food and drinks.
• Handle cash and non‑cash transactions, prepare shift end reports and deposit monies as required.
• Attend pre‑meal briefings and regular meetings to continuously improve service.
• Ensure proper linen count at the end of each shift and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Highly responsible, reliable and able to work under pressure.
• Team‑oriented with strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Experience with the Micros point‑of‑sale system (training provided if needed).
