Food & Beverage Attendant – Hotel Service

About the role

The InterContinental Abu Dhabi is seeking an enthusiastic Food & Beverage Attendant to join its dining team. You will help create a welcoming atmosphere and deliver attentive service to guests throughout the hotel’s restaurants and bars.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, manage seating, and assist with dining requirements.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them promptly.
• Provide menu information, ingredient details, and promote specials.
• Set up and maintain tables, service areas, and equipment to brand standards.
• Keep the restaurant clean, organized, and presentable during the shift.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond to requests, and handle feedback professionally.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen, bar, and other F&B colleagues for smooth service.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, health, safety, and responsible service procedures.
• Support opening and closing duties and assist with special events as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a food‑and‑beverage service role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and grooming standards.
• Positive, guest‑focused attitude and ability to work in a diverse team.
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the F&B operation.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
