Food & Beverage Captain

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and self‑motivated Food & Beverage Captain to join our team at Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa. In this role you will deliver professional, customer‑focused service, ensuring each guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and beverage according to the hotel’s performance standards.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of the outlet’s menu to advise guests.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and satisfactorily.
• Prepare the outlet for service and supervise smooth operations.
• Direct and supervise the service team, ensuring duties meet established standards.
• Ensure staff receive adequate training for their responsibilities.
• Organise, plan and control supplies, keeping accurate beverage stock records.
• Minimise waste, breakage and spoilage.
• Apply up‑selling techniques to exceed guest expectations and increase revenue.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in hospitality (or equivalent).
• Maximum two years of experience in a similar Food & Beverage role.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Previous minor leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Customer‑driven, proactive, charismatic and approachable.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Micros POS system.
