About the role

The Food & Beverage Service Expert ensures guests enjoy a seamless dining experience at Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi. Working closely with the kitchen and front‑of‑house teams, you will set tables, serve meals, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment. This role combines attentive guest service with operational efficiency to create memorable moments.

Key responsibilities

• Set and arrange tables, linens, and dining accessories according to hotel standards.
• Communicate orders and special requests accurately with the kitchen staff.
• Greet, serve, and attend to guests throughout their dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas, replenish supplies, and ensure all equipment is functional.
• Read and verify menu information, answer guest queries, and suggest items when appropriate.
• Handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb unaided (50 lb with assistance), moving trays, and navigating uneven surfaces safely.
• Adhere to safety, hygiene, and quality standards at all times.
• Uphold professional appearance, uniform standards, and clear communication.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and work on sloping or slippery surfaces.
• Physical capability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects as described.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering consistent service quality.
• Willingness to follow company policies, safety procedures, and uniform guidelines.
